Sibelius Meets Tchaikovsky
Celebrates the New Year 2016 and opens (Jan 1st - 10th) with hosted visual Anniversary Celebration Concerts of the two romantic composers Jean Sibelius and Pyotr Tchaikovsky on violin and Grand piano.
Sibelius concert host leads you to the greatest works of the masters – Valse Triste, Finlandia, the aria of Lensky and Romances. Finlandia is the symbol of Freedom. Valse Triste and the Tchaikovsky Lensky Aria are masterpieces of human expression. Romances from both composers are beautiful melodies.
The historic Kansallissali hall in the heart of the city, designed by architects Gesellius, Lindgren and Saarinen by Kämp Group offers a national romantic environment for this musical experience. More >>
